When you use our services, you can browse the app without creating an account. However, to complete a checkout and place a successful order, you must create an account. During the account creation process, we collect the following information:

Similar to numerous websites, we use “cookies” and different unique identifiers. We also use GOOGLE ANALYTICS to collect user usage activities such as searches, crash reports, and other interactions within the app. This data helps us understand user behavior and improve the overall user experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for purposes such as:
- ALLOWING YOU TO SET UP A USER ACCOUNT AND PROFILE TO INTERACT WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS.
- IMPROVING THE CONTENT OF OUR SERVICES AND USER EXPERIENCE.
- CONDUCTING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO ENHANCE OUR SERVICES.

Totes of Joy only shares user data under the following circumstances:

Data Retention and Deletion Policy
Totes of Joy retains user data for a maximum of 2 YEARS AFTER A USER HAS BEEN INACTIVE FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD. If a user wishes to delete their account, they can initiate the process through the app by navigating to PROFILE > DELETE ACCOUNT. This action takes the user to a page where they must submit a request to delete their account and provide a reason for the request.
Upon receiving the deletion request, a customer support representative will be assigned to the user and will reach out via email or phone (if the user has provided their phone number in the edit profile screen) within 1 TO 7 DAYS. The representative will ask the user a few questions to confirm their intention to delete the account.
Once the request is confirmed, the user’s data, including personal information, order details, and transaction history, will be deleted. AFTER THE ACCOUNT IS DELETED, THE USER CANNOT USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS TO CREATE ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN THE FUTURE.
